Cedar Park Neighborhood
Plan & Play

Apr. 18th 12pm - 4pm
at The Cedar Works
4919 Pentridge Street, Philadelphia

Come play a map-making board game where you and other players collectively design a map of improvements to Cedar Park Neighborhood! In the game, you and the other players find yourselves stuck in an alternate reality of Cedar Park. With no way to get return, you decide to make yourselves at home and work together to thrive in this new world. Both a fun game and a community engagement tool, the results of this game will be used by Cedar Park Neighbors to inform future endeavors in the neighborhood.

More info

What game is being played?
We will be playing a game designed by a UPenn Architecture graduate student that she developed over the past year. It's designed to be fun, empowering, and educational (but mostly fun).
Who can play the game?
Anyone is welcome to play the game! However, it will play the best if you have knowledge of the Cedar Park Neighborhood area.
Can my child play the game?
Children 1st grade and up should be able to play the game no problem. If they are younger than 1st grade, it might be difficult to play the game fully!
Do I have to be there for the whole time?
Nope! Feel free to drop in for however long you want.
I have more questions about this!
Feel free to email springyu[at]upenn.edu if you have other questions about the event or the game.
